Inspired with Makesense: mental health, youth and lockdown: what solutions?
In this difficult period of global pandemic, mental health issues are finally being tackled by the media. Young people are even harder hit psychologically than the rest of the population:
- Generally, students are more inclined to have suicidal thoughts than the rest of the population (11,7% vs 7.6%) (Source - iShare (2020)
- During this sanitary crisis, 27.5% of students are experiencing severe anxiety vs 9.8% before the starf of the pandemic (Source - Enquête cn2r, 2020)
But these problems have always been there and Nightline France has been working since 2017 to find solutions through free services offered to students and actions carried out in their favor. Today, following the publication by the association of a particularly enlightening report on the shortage of staff within university health services and urging the decision-makers to take actions, Nightline France presents solutions.
Come take part in the event to improve student mental health in France. You can register here. Future students, students, teachers, medical staff in universities, institutions: we're all invited to take part in the event.
