Our training programs

To better prepare volunteers for their listening mission and to raise awareness among students and their community, Nightline offers training on mental health. Faithful to its community health principle, training programs were all developed by mental health professionals in collaboration with student volunteers from the organisation.

Our Training and Support Offer for Professional Stakeholders

Nightline has developed a training program aimed at professionals working with young people and students, as well as engaged young people and students themselves.
Through this training offer, Nightline provides participants the opportunity to acquire or deepen their knowledge of mental health and its application in their work with young people and students.
Building on the experience gained within our association since 2016, our mental health professionals have created this range of trainings to meet the needs on the ground, as expressed by our partners and organizations supporting students and young people.

Logistics

Training sessions take place either at the organisation’s premises, online, or directly within our partner institutions. All volunteer training programs are free of charge for participants. However, some of our training programs are funded supported by the organisation and depend on specific partnership agreements.

Nightline is certified!

Since January 2022, all providers of skills development initiatives in France have had to obtain quality certification in order to benefit from public and mutualized funding, a certification acquired by our association in 2023.

"The training has enabled me to adapt my approach to providing better support, and above all to ensure that it is respectful of everyone's limits. In my position as Manager, I include more discussion time on mental health with my partners, drawing on shared tools and resources. I've become aware of the importance of broaching the subject without taboos, and of referring to professionals when necessary. I'm now better able to deal with emotionally complex situations. Thank you Nightline for this essential training!" A participant, 2024
