Nightline Reims

Nightline service for students based in Reims
Our listening service is open from 8:30 pm to 2:30am Thurs. to Mon.
You can reach us by phone or chat.

You've just arrived in Reims to study and you're feeling lonely? You'd like to confide in other students, or simply discuss the latest film you saw on Netflix? Our listening service is here for you.

☝️ Please note our volunteers are not mental health professionals! If you're looking for professional support, please visit our directory.

🧑‍🎓 If you’re not a student at uni yet, there are other helplines you can call such as SOS help.

🧰 Looking for resources before/after a call to Nightline? Check out our first aid kit.

Confidentiality

We never record or repeat our conversations. Your secrets are safe with us!

Non-judgemental

You can express your feelings freely: there are no taboo subjects or problems “too small” for us.

Anonymity

We will never ask you who you are, or to share any identifying information.

Non-directive

We are here to listen to you, not to guide you towards a certain decision. Only you decide what you want to say or do.

Free

Our services are free: there are no additional charges for the chat service or the calls and you won’t have to pay anything.

Welcome!

"The association is composed of 250 volunteers located in various student cities in France. They are accompanied by a team of about 30 employees who work in the fields of communications, psychology and research to measure our impact".

— Erkan Narmanli, President of Nightline France

Calling all French Speaking students

At the moment we are solely recruiting for our French line. So whether it is your first language or not, if you have a good level of French and feel confident taking calls and tchats with students in this language, do not hesitate to apply to volunteer for our French line in Normandie

Become a partner

Nightline Reims is supported by several public and private partners. Without their continued support, we would not be able to provide this service to students in difficulty.
If you would like to work with us to make our listening service available to your students, or to support student welfare initiatives, please contact us.
